Jazz On Vinyl Vol. 4 – Offbeat
Dominique Klatte hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt seine musikalischen Künstler mit Hilfe analoger Aufnahmetechnik auf Schallplatte zu bannen, keine digitalen Helferlein im vollkommen analogen Signalweg, die dieses Vorhaben vereinfachen könnten. Alle Musiker müssen gleichzeitig am gleichen Ort spielen. Das erhöht die Konzentration der Künstler wie die des Aufnehmenden. Klatte hat kein eigenes Studio, die Aufnahmen finden in Räumen statt, die zur Musik und den Instrumenten passen, aber es sind oft Räume, die den Musikern bekannt sind und in denen sie sich wohl fühlen. Eine nachträgliche Bearbeitung der Aufnahmen findet nicht statt, wenn es nicht gepasst hat, wieder zurück auf Anfang, für alle. Das kann man nicht beliebig oft machen, die Zeit drängt, daher die hohe Konzentration.
Volume Four – Offbeat, limitiert auf 1.000 Stück auf Vinyl, wurde im November 2020 veröffentlicht. Mitspieler hier waren: das Quartett Fainschmitz, der Gitarrist Reimo Oberth, Allègresse mit Sologitarre, Rhythmusgitarre und Kontrabass, BÖF - Bayrisch Österreichischer Feinklang mit Akkordeon und Klarinette.
Das Gypsy Jazz Trio, Allègresse um Michael Gerle, Markus Drescher und Joschi Hofmann aus Augsburg hat in der alten Druckerei, des Sempt Kurier Erding eine atemberaubende Performance hingelegt. Fantastisch was die drei an Ihren Instrumenten geleistet haben. Da in diesem Raum Gitarre und Bass, ausgesprochen gut klingen, habe ich noch einen guten Freund und Virtuosen Gitarristen aus Erding eingeladen. Reimo Oberth hat mir ein sehr anspruchsvolles schönes Solo eingespielt. Er war auch der erste Musiker, den ich für Jazz On Vinyl begeistern konnte und aufnehmen durfte.
Der Bayrisch Österreichische Feinklang – kurz BÖF – bestehend aus Michaela Bauer und Markus Renhart, Volume Four noch mit zwei ganz besonderen Stücken bereichert. Ihre Instrumente, Akkordeon und Klarinette, konnten sich im großen Saal der KMS Erding mit dem sehr schönen Raumklang fantastisch entfalten. (Dominique Klatte)

Dominique Klatte has set himself the goal of capturing his musical artists on disc using analogue recording technology, no digital helpers in the completely analogue signal path that could simplify this project. All musicians must play at the same place at the same time. This increases the concentration of the artists as well as that of the recorder. Klatte doesn't have his own studio, the recordings take place in rooms that suit the music and the instruments, but these are often rooms that the musicians are familiar with and in which they feel comfortable. A subsequent processing of the recordings does not take place if it did not fit, back to the beginning, for everyone. You can't do that as often as you like, time is short, hence the high level of concentration.
Volume Four - Offbeat, limited to 1,000 copies on vinyl, was released in November 2020. The players here were: the Fainschmitz quartet, the guitarist Reimo Oberth, Allègresse with solo guitar, rhythm guitar and double bass, BÖF - Bayrisch Österreichischer Feinklang with accordion and clarinet.
The gypsy jazz trio, Allègresse around Michael Gerle, Markus Drescher and Joschi Hofmann from Augsburg put on a breathtaking performance in the old printing works of the Sempt Kurier Erding. Fantastic what the three have done on their instruments. Since the guitar and bass sound extremely good in this room, I invited a good friend and virtuoso guitarist from Erding. Reimo Oberth recorded a very demanding, beautiful solo for me. He was also the first musician I was able to get enthusiastic about Jazz On Vinyl and was allowed to record.
The Bavarian-Austrian fine sound - BÖF for short - consisting of Michaela Bauer and Markus Renhart, Volume Four enriched with two very special pieces. Their instruments, accordion and clarinet, were able to unfold fantastically in the large hall of the KMS Erding with the very beautiful spatial sound. (Dominique Klatte)
